Our production site

After the devastating fire at the Thielemeyer factory III in 1999 the Thielemeyer family decides to erect a completely new furniture factory at Grubebachstrasse and all the production facilities from the old factory II are also moved to this site at the same time.  In a very short space of time a new furniture factory incorporating the most modern surface coating and assembly lines as well as a new administration building are erected.

The decision to concentrate production of our living room and bedroom furniture at one site improves overall organisation and order processing, since some of the transport previously required between the various sites is no longer necessary and the technology involved in overall production, going from the cutting of the individual components to final delivery, can be much better organised.

Production begins in specific areas of the new site as early as the middle of January 2000.  By the beginning of June all building and relocation has been completed at the new bedroom factory so that all our production facilities are now running smoothly.
